Golf in Hurghada
If you are looking to sharpen up your short game look no further than the Steinenberger Al Dau Golf Course. This 9 hole golf course within the grounds of the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Resort is an excellent place to test your short game, the longest hole is only 82m.
It may seem an easy challenge however add in the fact a majority of the holes are surrounded by water, it adds an element of difficulty. How many times have you tried to hit a 60 yard pitch shot and over hit it, if like myself it is often then pack lots of balls.
It is a very tricky but very well manicured 9 holes of golf, played in glorious weather and with an amazing back drop of the 5 star hotel and Red Sea. It is open to non residents and the cost for 9 holes is around €14, they also have clubs and trolleys to hire and a small shop where you can purchase: balls, gloves, logoed polo shirts, caps, visors, tees etc…
My tip would be, due to the fact you ARE going to lose balls I would pack a few of your practice balls in your suitcase otherwise it could become a costly round.
